From the very first block to a thriving network — this is how CodeBlocksMC came to life.
CodeBlocksMC began in a Bedrock world, built by Julian and his best friend Fin — a reimagining of “TreasureWars” from The Hive, crafted purely with command blocks.
The first lobby featured NPCs for “Hide & Seek”, “MurderMystery”, and “TreasureWars” — a playground of creativity.
Julian began streaming the progress live. As more joined the team, the project moved to a Bedrock Aternos server — the first step toward community.
A viewer’s simple question — “Is this on Java Edition?” — sparked an idea. Thus began the path to crossplay and a broader world.
With more players and greater ambitions, the team moved from Aternos to a paid host — 4GB of RAM and dreams far greater.
From codeblocksmc.ml to codeblocksmc.de — a digital home worthy of its name.
Inspired by Jakob’s Raspberry Pi setup, Julian introduced BungeeCord and virtualized the server — command blocks gave way to self-coded plugins.
MurderMystery, BedWars, Duels, PvPFFA — the first major release. A hacking attack tried to stop it, but only sparked resilience.
The infrastructure was upgraded yet again. Faster, safer, and ready for the next leap — an environment fit for growth.
A new era of protection began: advanced firewalls, custom anti-cheat systems and legal measures were introduced to safeguard the community. Attacks no longer meant disruption — they became proof of our strength and dedication.
With new game modes, cosmetics, bold ideas and a passionate team — the story continues. And you’re part of it.

When Minecraft says “no,” Simon says: “Watch me.” A master of datapacks – he bends the game’s limits with ease, creating features that feel like magic but are grounded in logic. From small tweaks to groundbreaking mechanics – Simon redefines what’s possible, idea by idea.
Developer
GUIs, mechanics, APIs – Philipp makes them dance. With deep knowledge of the Bukkit API and a passion for clean, functional systems, he is behind many of CodeBlocksMC’s interfaces and features. If something in the game just feels right – it was probably Michael.
Moderator & Jr. Developer
Need help? Ask Nico. Don’t need help? Ask him anyway – he probably has a tip you didn’t know you needed. With a systematic mind and a warm nature, he’s the friendly presence behind the scenes.
Head Builder
Give her a few days, and she’ll gift you a masterpiece. Elli has an eye for detail and a heart for grand scale – her builds are more than structures: they are stories, carved in stone and light.
Sr. Builder
In Dark’s hands, WorldEdit isn’t just a tool – it’s an extension of his mind. With precision, speed, and a nerdy love for symmetry, he turns ideas into monumental worlds. If it’s big, bold, and technically brilliant, Dark is probably behind it.
Builder
Jan takes care of interiors. If you see a lovingly crafted fridge, it was probably him. With an eye for detail and a passion for atmosphere, he transforms rooms into vibrant, inviting spaces.

Before you even finish your sentence, Salami is already in the ticket. As our Head Supporter, he’s always the first on the scene – quick, reliable, and ready to help with anything. With a sharp mind and a soft heart, he’s the speedrun champion of helping – precise, kind, tireless.

Calm, friendly, and always helpful. Henri brings serenity to the support team. Whether solving a problem or simply listening – every request is met with an open ear and a genuine smile.
